Hello! I hope my home page loaded a bit quicker for you this time around. When i'm in class i'm stuck staring at my wrapper page loaded and waiting for my home page iframe to load. Usually it's just a big white square in the middle of the screen for awhile. Lately it has ranged from 5 seconds to almost 20 or 25 seconds for me when i'm in class to load my home page. I'm not totally sure why that is. I know when I use a popup picture with my blog entry it needs to load the full sized image ahead of time but that image was only 16kb so that can't be it. My thinking was that it is all the database connections on my home page. Here's a rapsheet of my home page (Does not include wrapper page that goes around all other pages)
  • 4 Database Connections
  • 2 Arrays
  • 2-3 Pictures (Random meaning they aren't in your cache
  • 1 CSS File
  • 1 13.1 KB ASP File
This all comes out to about 100KB total give or take so I can see why it might take awhile.
In other news I am feeling pretty good with my templates for Jennifer's new website. I had to revamp them completly yesturday because they looked bad on people with large screen resolutions. Here check them both out:

Well I better hit submit here before I accidentally close this window and lose this whole entry. Aidios.
