hey, try creating a file or folder with the filename, or extension being any of the following: CON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM0, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT0, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, LPT9

Thats cute, windows automatically changes it back to the previous folder name. Those domineering programmers

Yes, all in the sake of backwards compability to DOS days where there were shortcut "files" which pointed to physical devices (i.e. a printer) so that a program could "save" something but have the output actually run to the printer. A bit f-ed up, possibly, to still reserve those filenames after all these years.
