Hey there, this site is pretty old now. I've decided to leave it up as I put a lot of work into it and would hate to see it disappear.

Our wedding is finally over so I think a blog is needed. I have over 2000 pictures for our wedding and I'll have to find some of the better ones and post them on my site. If you really want to see them all visit Emily's Facebook profile and view most of them on there.
The weather was perfect for our wedding. It was really the only thing we were worried about since the entire event was held outdoors. Our reception was probably the most fun part of the night. I surprised a lot of people with my dance moves (I think). Emily surprised me with her's and her brother Josh did a good job as well.
For the honeymoon we went to Wisconsin Dells. Emily had been there before but I hadn't. The weather there was also really nice and made for a good vacation. We stayed at a hotel that gave us free Noah's Ark tickets each day we stayed so we now have 8 free tickets left over from the honeymoon. We'll probably go back this summer and use the rest of them up.
We also played a lot of mini golf. One game we even wagered our next car on although it was sort of a tie so we'll have to play a re-match. A few other fun things we did were the Dell's Boat Tour, and House on the Rock.
One thing I am proud of regarding our wedding is how modest we were about much of it. It seems that a lot of people go really overboard with their weddings and spend $10,000 - $20,000 on them. To me that seems sort of silly for one day of your life. Everybody that I have talked to so far said that they had a lot of fun at ours and a few said it was one of their favorites.
Most of the dust has settled now and life is returning to normal sort of. Our apartment is still quite a mess and to make matters worse our air conditioner officially doesn't work and needs to be replaced in it. The temperature is between 85 and 90 degrees now in that place! I think it should be fixed by the end of the week.
I'm enjoying married life and it feels great to finally be living with Emily with all of our stuff together. Well that's probably a long enough blog for now. Until next time......View Comments (0)

Today is my wedding day and I thought it would be nice to write up a blog entry for it. Things are going great so far. Friday, we set up the tent and pretty much everything else. My family has been a huge help for all of this and I couldn't have done it without them. Then last night was the rehersal dinner. That went alright, I just hope everybody can take it a bit more serious during today since the ceremony is the one part that I would like to be nice and traditional and the reception can be fun and crazy.
At about 12 o'clock today the wedding party will be at my house preparing and at 2:30 the actual ceremony will take place on my lawn. Then at 5:30 dinner starts and 7:00 the music begins.
It is a really beautiful day right now and I am really excited about how nice it turned out. I'm trying my best not to talk alot this morning because my voice is almost going out from all the talking I did yesterday. Well I should probably continue to get ready, I have to finish cooking up my suprise for Emily and finish getting ready as well. Wish me luck!...View Comments (0)

This blog post coming live from a hijacked internet connection. Yeah...the sad news is my OWN internet isn't working right now but thank god for wireless connections in an apartment complex. My stupid internet isn't working for the second time in two weeks now. It's starting to aggravate me too.
It seems that the past three weeks I have had all sorts of annoying problems occuring. Three weeks ago my computer crashed. It still sits here with the side panel off running at sub-optimal speed. Then last week I locked my keys in my car and then a few hours later my car completly died. I later found out that my starter was dead on my car. Then on my drive home my front left tire was disintergrating. I ended up driving from Appleton to Clintonville on that tire at 40 mph.
Another stupid thing happened over the weekend as well. My stupid new white cat decided to take a crap on my bed, pee three times on it, and then puke on the floor. I am still washing the sheets to that bed and trying to make the mattress not smell anymore. That cat is now down to 7 lives to go before it dies. The other cat likes to play/fight with it as well so perhaps darwin will take care of that cat after all.
Then last night my internet didn't work and here I sit tonight with some crappy wireless connection. By the time I finish this post the kind person with an unsecured connection will probably turn there computer off and I'll be without.
It seems that the past few weeks many of lifes ammenities have been chipped away from me.
  • Working Computer
  • Working Car
  • Bed to Sleep On
  • Working Internet
Those are all the things we tend to take for granted but they have all been screwing up on me. I'm begining to wonder what will screw up next.
Of course there is the wedding this weekend. People always ask me if I am nervous. I don't feel nervous about it. I realize that something will go wrong but as long as Emily and I are married at the end of the day, I will be happy.
Well I should return to my borowed car, stolen internet, crappy computer, sleeping on the spare futon life now....View Comments (0)

Well it's been awhile since I've blogged last. I've run into some computer problems in the past week that have been driving me crazy. On Sunday night while installing a wireless card in my computer some random driver hosed the thing up pretty bad. The solution to this problem was suprisingly, uninstalling the graphics card by reverting the the default drivers. Then last night (Wednesday) I had a similar problem, computer starts up, screen goes black after Windows XP screen. I found that uninstalling the graphics card once again fixed my computer. I'm failing to see why my graphics card is screwing things up (specifically the drivers to it) I have downloaded the lastest and greatest drivers from ATI and before all of this happened, I had an older set of drivers from them. I'm thinking that from now on, I'm just going to use the crappy Windows XP drivers and see if I have any problems.
A better solution to all of this would be a new computer. Mine is 6 years old. There was a time when I didn't mind using my computer and only running 2-3 programs at a time at a slow speed but now having used super fast computers at work, it makes it difficult to come home and have patience on my free time. My computer had no trouble running programs made in 2001 but with all the bloatware comming out these days, it just doesn't have the power to do it. I don't really care so much about most of the hardware on my computer. Really its the 40 & 120GB hardrives that I have that are important to me. They comprise of random junk I've collected since the dawn of my computer usage (dating back to 1995) Most of the stuff is from 2001 and newer but regardless, there are sedamental things on my computer that I would hate to loose should my entire system crash.
I am also thinking that it is much easier (and less stressful) to copy data to a new computer rather than trying to recover date from a broken computer. I can picture the two scenarios and gracefully copying stuff to a new computer care free sounds like a better plan than painfully using linux to extract things from an old hardrive. Well I've gone on long enough here, hopefully my computer lasts long enough for me to finish this blo..........View Comments (0)

Hi all! I haven't blogged in a long long time. Since I have moved into my apartment I haven't been doing much on my website. Lately I have been working with my former boss and current co-worker on pagebuildr.com which is a site similar to MySpace. Hopefully I will have some more time to devote to my site in the future
As far as personal news goes I finally graduated and walked the stage. It was a pretty nice event. That also means that I am officially hired as the Webmaster of Lakeland.edu. My first official full time job...yay! Check out some graduation photos in my photo gallery. Also in other news the wedding is coming up really fast. I really would just like to fast forward past the wedding to the part where Emily and I live together because it sucks being apart from her so much.
Man my apartment is almost over 80 degrees right now. I am sweating really bad. I even turned the AC to try to help it but that hasn't helped. It should be a crappy night to get any sleep I guess. I guess life is moving along pretty good right now...got a full time job, getting married, have my own place.
Well that all for now hopefully I will post a bit more often from now on. I should attempt to go to bed in this hot apartment now....View Comments (0)
