Hey there, this site is pretty old now. I've decided to leave it up as I put a lot of work into it and would hate to see it disappear.

Something I've always wanted on my site is a way to organize information in a more logical way. To sum it up I've always wanted a tagging system to tag the various things that get posted to it. Wikipedia describes a tag as:
"A tag is a (relevant) keyword or term associated with or assigned to a piece of information (e.g. a picture, a geographic map, a blog entry, or video clip) as a whole or only to a part of it (e.g. "timed tags" assigned to specific moment in time in a video), for purposes of keyword-based classification and search of information."
Basically what you can do now as an end user is once you have finished reading a blog, or something else posted on the site, you can click to add a tag for it. Then type in a word or two that sums up what the posted item was about. I spent a good chunk of time just going around tagging things on my site and now you can as well.
In other news I have found a solution to high file sized images on my site. Before it would actually load the entire image (sometimes 1mb in size) and just resize it. Now it will actually size the image down in file size and display a thumbnail of it. I'm currently using this method in my new wallpapers section of and the photo gallery. Check my wallpapers out and download a few!
In other news things are going good. It's been sort of cold down in Sheboygan over the past week. Last weekend Emily and I went to the Sheboygan parade of homes. It was pretty good although most of the houses weren't as crazy as they are in the fox cities. There was one house that was over 7,000 square feet which was pretty impressive. This weekend we have taken it slow and sat around since Emily has been sick. We gave our two cats a bath today and they are all cranky about it since they hate to get wet. Well that's all for now....View Comments (0)

Finally, it's labor day weekend and that means no working for Neal (although Emily has to work which sucks and I feel bad for her) I am writing this blog from my brand spanking new computer! I am very excited to have it.
Basically Tyler game Emily and I an I.O.U wedding gift back in June. Then last weekend the two of us went to Madison to visit Tyler. He suprised us with a brand new home built computer that he made himself. The PC boasts some pretty impressive specs:
  • An Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
  • 2gb of RAM with heat synch on the memory sticks
  • A giant heat synch on the processor
  • 320gb of hard disk space (now up to 440gb)
  • A heat synch on the hard disk
  • PCI Express
  • Motherboard with SATA available
  • PC Case with LED fans
  • Windows Vista
It took almost a week to get the computer to where I want it. I still need to do some cleanup work on my other two computers. This computer is a real beast. I cranked up all the settings in Unreal Tournament 2004 and it doesn't lag at all! I've never been able to do that on a computer yet. About 90% of the software I use works on Vista as well and the other 10% are really old games that don't matter to me much anyways. Despite what a lot of people say Vista really isn't all that bad. I am a bit biased since I have a really nice computer to run it though. Thanks Tyler for the awesome computer!
I also posted some pictures of last weekend in my Photo Gallery. Some are of the computer and others are of our trip to the Madison zoo which was an alright time. Last weekend seemed to go by really fast. I hope this weekend will be a good one.
As far as site news there really isn't any. One thing new with websites for me is I just finished a website with my two co-workers Jason and Chris a new site for our company dynamicdevelop. It's a golf site for a guy that lives in the area. Check it out!. It feels good to finally get that project done and hopefully move on to another one.
I love you Emily!...View Comments (5)

Hello everybody! It's about time for a new blog. Life has been sort of busy lately. Despite that I have added a new section to my site. It's call Open Videos. The concept is very simliar to Open Links except you can post videos to my website from YouTube, Yahoo Videos and other sites rather than links.
Kate you'll be excited to know that I've posted all my videos I took at your wedding on my site in that section so go and check it out!
I've also posted some pictures of her wedding in my Photo Gallery.
In other news summer is finally comming to an end and that means that work is getting a lot busier with people comming back to school. Emily will also be going to college this year for English which is pretty exciting. I'm also debating on whether or not I want to go back to school for a Masters degree. I guess getting the degree is a good thing but I'm sort of tired of school, I mean it's not like I've been in school for the past 16 years or anything.
Emily, Tyler, Shayla, Katie, Ross and I are planning on going to Wisconsin Dells in a few weeks. During our honeymoon we aquired a few extra tickets for Noahs Ark so we decided to go there again at the end of the summer when all the crazyness was over. Hopefully that should be a good time and it will be warmer out than it is today (it feels like it's 60 something out 5 blocks off of lake Michigan right now.)
Well that's all for now enjoy! ...View Comments (0)

Hi everybody! I'm finally getting around to writing another blog. Last weekend Emily and I went home for the first time since we've been married. It was sort of weird to go back. It didn't make it any easier that we went to a friends wedding and there was a bunch of high school people there. That was sort of lame in my mind since I really didn't like many people from high school.
This week was sort of interesting. Emily and I are officially extras in a Lakeland TV commerical that will air on the morning and nightly news in August. Look for us on the news! We were basically those blury people you see in the background on commercials. That same day our old white car died in the Lakeland parking lot. That was very stressful for us. We considered having it towed, giving it a junk yard or selling it to Tyler. In the end I managed to get it running again.
Yesterday, July 26th we were fed up with the stupid white car and decided to go car shopping. We stopped at a few places in Sheboygan and finally ended up at Lakeland Auto. I should point out that we have been looking for cars the past month and last night was by no means a spur of the moment thing. At Lakeland Auto we found a 2003 Ford Focus ZTS with only 19,000 miles on it. To me this sounded crazy, that a 4 year old car would only have 19,000 miles on it. Hell some people put that many on in one year. We took it for a test drive and really liked it. I should also mention that it is a four door Focus and not one of those weird shaped 2 door wagons or 5 door hatch backs.
4 hours later after dozens of papers filled out and almost not finding the title to my old white car, we finally have a new car. It's sort of exciting for me since the first car I ever bought was only $900 and the second one I bought was $1,600 so I've never actually owned a nice car. I think this car should last us a real long time considering its low miles and smaller engine size. It is also great on miles per gallon with about 34. It has a really nice sound system in it as well which is weird for a factory system. If you want to check out a few pictures of it make sure to view my photo gallery.
We ended up trading in the white car. I will say that I will miss my old crappy 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix. That was basically my college years car. The thing I won't be missing on it is the annual alternator failure and all the other problems that it gave me. It feels nice to have two cars that I don't need to worry about driving long distances with and breaking down.
Well that is all for now, make sure to leave a few comments on this post or on the photo gallery images letting me know what you think!...View Comments (0)

Hi everybody. It has been awhile since I've blogged last. For the first time in a long time I have actually made some changes on my site. I am pretty excited about them too. The first change I made is I added the ability to post comments in the Open Links Section. Click to see what I mean. So if I post a link or somebody else does and you have something to say about it, feel free to leave a comment.
Second I recently bought a new domain. The new domain is http://www.grosskopf.name. With this I created two sub-domains so far, http://neal.grosskopf.name & http://emily.grosskopf.name. What I can do is create a sub-domain for anybody with the last name of grosskopf. For example kate.grosskopf.name, joe.grosskopf.name, donette.grosskopf.name and so forth. I could pretty much put anything people want on these sites and they could tell others to go to them. If anybody wants me to do this let me know. Currently I have nothing on the neal.grosskopf.name site and the emily.grosskopf.name site. I am not sure what I want to do with those yet.
And finally something else I am very excited about that I have done in the past couple days is I have added the ability for people to create their own polls on my site. I have also added a bit more information about each poll that is posted as well. So please, go and create a poll for other people to vote on. I can never think of any good questions to ask so I need you guys to ask them for me!
In personal news life is going pretty good. Emily and I have been looking for new cars. I will miss my old white junker when we get a new car. Sheboygan is an alright city but sometimes the weekends get boring since Emily and I don't have many friends and they seem to be busy during the weekends. Well that's all for now, go and create a poll now!...View Comments (0)
